CHAIRPERSON / Hudson is a Business Development Manager at Baton Rouge Coca-Cola Bottling Company. He currently lives in Baton Rouge with his wife, Joanna; and his two daughters, Ava and Hope.
VICE CHAIRMAN / He represents the Baton Rouge Lodging Association on the baord. Gary is general manager of DoubleTree Baton Rouge. He has been a general manager of hotels for more than a decade. He is a graduate of LSU.
SECRETARY / Kelly Parker is the Franchise Sales and Marketing Manager for Walk-On's Bistreaux and Bar. She joined the team in July 2014 to grow the brand and drive sales. She has over 13 years of marketing experience with eight years directly within the restaurant franchise segment. Kelly has her Bachelors of Science from Texas Christian University and currently lives with her husband and two girls in Baton Rouge.
TREASURER / Jeremy is partner in tax services for Faulk & Winkler. Before that, Jeremy worked at SMG-Louisiana Superdome as a staff accountant and as a junior accountant for a Lafayette CPA firm. Jeremy is a graduate of the University of Louisiana-Lafayette.
LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY / A former LSU football standout, Verge Ausberry joined the athletics administrative staff in August 2001 as the Associate Athletics Director for Operations and was appointed to the position of Senior Associate Athletics Director in May 2006. He was named Deputy Director of Athletics in January of 2016.
AT-LARGE / Roger was an American college baseball coach, formerly serving as head coach of the Southern Jaguars baseball team. He was named to that position prior to the 1985 season. He is also a member of a Major League Baseball task force to improve African-American participation in baseball.
AT-LARGE / A former LSU baseball standout, Patrick Coogan is the founder and president of Champion Wealth Strategies, a local financial advisory firm. In 10 years-many of which were tumultuous for companies in the financial services industry-Champion Wealth Strategies has grown steadily and now has three locations.
AT-LARGE / Carter began working for Fourrier Agency in 2001 after earning a Bachelors of Science in Finance. He brings innovative ideas and begins the third generation into Fourrier Agency. This commitment means Fourrier Agency will be around for many years to come.
AT-LARGE / Rebecca practices in the area of business and finance. Ms. Hinton represents individuals and businesses in the areas of federal, state and local taxation; tax controversies; estate planning; numerous business matters; successions; and trusts.
AT-LARGE / Bryan is an Associate Vice President, Gulf Coast district deputy office leader. Jones, a mass communication graduate from LSU, has been with HNTB for the last 12 years. His entire career has been centered on the marketing, government relations and strategic planning aspects of the business. As a deputy office leader, Bryan is now responsible for operations, business and employee-development.
AT-LARGE / Brock, along with his sister, owns Bistro Byronz. A neighborhood family bistro serving up Southern bistro fare in an intimate setting. The restaurant opened in 2005 and there are currently four Bistro Byronz locations, two in Baton Rouge, one in Mandeville, and one in Shreveport.
AT-LARGE / Patrick Mockler serves a president of Mockler Beverage Company, a family-owned beverage distributor. He has worked for the business since 1987. Patrick has a bachelor's degree in international trade and finance from LSU.
AT-LARGE / Holland is a Maringouin native, and currently resides in Baton Rouge. She is a mother of four and enjoys running races. Nader is a Registered Nurse and worked at the Baton Rouge Orthopedic Clinic.
CITY/PARISH OF EAST BATON ROUGE / Roderic Newton represents the Mayor's Office on the SportsBR board of director. Roderic is the head coach at Greater King David Track Club and is a long-time track & field contact in the community. He also currently serves as the Youth Chairman of USA Track and Field Southern Association.
SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY / Trayvean Scott is the Associate Director of Athletics at Southern University, overseeing institutional compliance for the athletics program. Trayvean is a Southern University graduate and former Men's Basketball student-athlete.
AT-LARGE / Cade was born and raised in Houma, LA, graduated from Vandebilt Catholic High School and went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication at Nicholls State University in Thibodaux, Louisiana. Cade has over 17 years of experience in the radio industry and currently serves as Program Director for 104.5 ESPN Baton Rouge and Interim Operations Manager for Guaranty Media. Cade and his wife Candace, while both from southeast Louisiana, love to call Baton Rouge home.
